On Saturday, NOLA (8) is picked up by her father KURT (45) from her football club to do something fun together. However, Nola's mother SADE (36) is not amused; Kurt is late for the umpteenth time. Nola quickly gives her father her homemade bracelet.

Op zaterdag wordt NOLA (8) door haar vader KURT (41) opgehaald bij haar voetbalclub om samen iets leuks te gaan doen. Nola's moeder SADE (36) is echter not amused; Kurt komt voor de zoveelste keer te laat. Nola geeft haar vader snel haar zelfgemaakte armband.
Onderweg naar zee stoppen ze bij een benzinestation, Nola ziet haar vader flirten met twee jonge vrouwen en op Instagram ziet ze haar vriendinnen plezier maken op een verjaardagsfeestje.
Wandelend over het strand vraagt Kurt haar naar haar moeder. Als Nola hem vertelt over haar nieuwe vriend die haar leerde sushi maken is Kurt gekwetst. Bij het strandpaviljoen complimenteert hij de knappe serveerster SYLVIE (24). Het irriteert Nola en ze wil dat hij stopt met flirten, zoals hij had beloofd. Kurt vindt dat Nola kinderachtig doet. Flirten zit in zijn aard.
Als Kurt eindeloos staat te kletsen bij Sylvie zonder rekening te houden met zijn dochter, sluipt Nola het paviljoen uit. Als Kurt haar na een zoektocht eindelijk ontdekt, is hij woedend en wijst hij haar op haar egoïstische gedrag. Als ze weer binnen zijn draait Nola de rollen om en leert ze haar vader op brute wijze een lesje.
