Black women of different backgrounds and ages recount the hand games of their childhood and explore the role it played in their experiences. Using a series of anecdotes Eenie Meenie covers the hand game as not only a means of play but as a source of cultural and historical preservation, fellowship and even coping within the Black community. Through this examination themes such as racism, misogynoir and the overall hardships that Black children, specifically girls face, are explored.
