A young woman on the precipice of change and the edge of a New York City subway platform struggles to get rid of an aberrant duffel bag only to discover it holds a specter murkier than the New York City underground.
In the fluorescent-lit purgatory, subterranean maze of New York City's subway, Maya Rodriguez teeters on the brink—both of a platform and a personal crossroads. Burdened with a duffel bag that defies abandonment, she unravels a mystery darker than the tunnels themselves. This short film delves into the shadows we carry, the specters we confront, and the pivotal moments that define us. Set against the city's relentless pulse, it challenges viewers to peer into their own concealed depths and question: what haunts us beneath the surface?
