The three estranged Fusco sisters come together on the eve of their Mob Boss father's funeral to fight for liberation amid the male-dominated landscape of 1975.
On the eve of their Mob Boss father’s funeral, the three estranged Fusco sisters come together to fight for liberation amid the male-dominated landscape of 1970s New York. Izzy Fusco returns home after two decades with her partner, Malinda January, to find her benefactor, Uncle Rocco, at odds with her sisters, Maryanne and Toni. Izzy is quickly exposed to Rocco’s menacing nature and learns that he is after their family business and home. She must choose whether to stick by Rocco or band together with her sisters to survive and find a way out from under Rocco’s rule. “The Fuscos” provides a twist on beloved, classic 70s mob films, lending a voice to the unheard women of that generation.
