Through the loss of her leg, her children, her marriage, and her voice, Christa Couture learned how to lose everything. She presses stories of loss into the pages of this field guide, showing us days in bed spent under the heavy blanket of grief; introduces us to Sorrow, a stubborn but loyal friend; and grants us the right to honour and to forget our most painful memories.
