While Anali struggles to maintain her control, Jaxon and Dina are forced to decide whether the quality of their relationship with Anali exceeds its new quantity. 'Centerfold' is a short film that explores vulnerability often grown out of love, while challenging the hold it has on us all.
What makes this film* unique is its approach to non-monogamous relationships -- rather than focus on the nature of such relationships, it draws attention to the decisions one may make when asked to be involved. It's not about the idea of what polyamory could look like but rather how each character's motive serves their greater purpose, which may or may not lend to the throuple they've found themselves in.
*The producer, writer, director, and 1st assistant director of this film are all Black women. This film was also crafted by a majority-Black crew.
