An experimental art film that explores collage/montage techniques to create fiction out of decontextualized realism. This short work merges editorial testimonials into a fictional narrative arc.
Based on a factual event, this true-life "War of the Worlds" occured in the city of Villavicencio, Colombia, in December of 2011. The filmmaker chose to implement a kitch inspired aesthetic fusion in a tour de force of rapid fire motion graphics that builds in pace while expressing humor and humanity.
